Here are some photos taken on my recent Caribbean trip. Feel free to right click and save for high resolution copies.

Caribbean Visit Part 2

One of the cool things for Balsy and me during our visit was being recognized. More than a few people came up to us during our stay to say that they had seen us on TV or in the paper.

Caribbean Visit Part 1

Earlier this month I was invited to Aruba to give the slideshow presentation. Joining me was Balsey (the captain on ALM Flight 980) and his wife Edith.

Slide Show Presentation

One of the things I have done to promote my book 35 Miles From Shore has been to create a slide show presentation that tells the story using images, sound, and animation. I had my first presentation a few weeks ago. I have several more scheduled in the weeks ahead.

Slide Show Presentation St. Louis

The slide show is like an interactive documentary. If you’re in the area, stop by. I think you’ll enjoy it.

Mile High Book signing

Another advantage of doing book signings, even when you don’t sell a lot of books or get additional media coverage, is the chance to meet with people who have a connection to the story. In Florida I met with two of Jeannie Larmony’s granddaughters. On this visit I got to meet the sister-in-law of Ken Borrego. Ken was a crewmember aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Point Whitehorn.

Denver Book Signing June 7

I will be at the Borders on 8230 E. 49th, Denver, Colorado this Saturday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. If you’re in the area stop by. For more information please visit my web site or booktour.com.

TV Interview

Emilio Corsetti talks about his new book 35 Miles From Shore.

St. Louis Book Signing

So what is the verdict on the cookies? I think they’re a good idea. The cookies cost me $3. It gave me an excuse to invite people over. That’s a small investment to get people to stop and talk. I’ll include them on my remaining stops.
