The Problem With America

Over the past several months I have seen a number of interesting polls that paint a bleak picture of this country. I’d like to share a few of them. I’ll start with some amazing statistics concerning reading habits. You can find the complete survey here.

Total percentage of U.S. families who did not buy a book this year: 80%

Total percentage of college students who will never read another book after they graduate: 42%

Depending on which poll you read 20% to 28% of adults have not read a single book the past year (1 in 4)

The number of people who don’t know that the Affordable Care Act and Obama Care are the same thing (1 in 3)

More than one out of every three Americans incorrectly believes that Obamacare and the Affordable Care Act are different laws, or say they don’t know whether they’re the same or different, a new poll finds.

Oscars Poll: 60 Percent of Americans Can’t Name One Best Picture Nominee

51% of Trump voters believe the “Bowling Green Massacre” was real

And we wonder how it is that we have a Reality TV host as our President.
